Android best root tool for galaxy nexus?

ok, so i am trying to root my galaxy nexus, however, i dont seem to be having much luck with any of the guides i have been looking at...i spent most of yesterday afternoon trying to setup my computer to use wugfresh's tool, but had all kinds of issues when trying to configure the drivers....is there an app i can get from the app store to root my phone? or a good tried and true tutorial i can follow that isnt too complex?

I've been following this guy for all my superuser needs, and he's always come through!

Also, what experience do you have rooting android? Have you rooted previous devices, or is this your first time doing so?

im a first time android user, so i have not had any experience at all with this stuff...

i have finally managed to get my device rooted following using wugfresh's tool for galaxy nexus, after 2 days of trying to get the drivers setup..thanks for the info you provided though
