Although I sadly own a clone, it was in the earlier days when I was less informed.

Well, there are 1:1 clones which are essentially the EXACT SAME as a real R4, just not made by the R4 team.

Pretty much every other clone adds something, like "SDHC" or "i" or "Ultra" or "III" and change the PCB and sticker and sometimes colors.
