Hey im really new to the psp had it since 2004 thought it broke turns out it works :) and i was looking for some amazing rpgs such as Tales and was also hoping for some Japanese translated games

I am also looking for the same Tales of Eternia is a great game on PSP. Not sure if there are other Tales games for it yet. the Lunar remake is superb, and even has a shitload of voice acting. If you like action-RPGs, then the 3rd Birthday is a great game. I really enjoyed Crisis Core, it felt a bit like Final Fantasy mixed with atouch of Kindomhearts, for whatever reason.

Legend of Heroes Series (Trails in The Sky[lucky we got 2nd chapter to release by xseed with PC version on it]

Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky (its next sequel will be out in English for PSP at the end of 2014), Star Ocean First and Second, Mana Khemia, Lunar Silver Star Harmony (I love this one so much), Growlanser Wayfarer of Time (a must-play)

persona 3 portable, phantasy star portable 2, tales of phantasia cross edition/destiny 2/rebirth if you dont mind the japanese, tales of eternia

narikiri dungeon x is a fun tales game that doesnt require japanese knowledge to play

crisis core, dissidia

Tales of Phantasia / Destiny / Destiny 2 / Rebirth / Eternia
Disgea and Summon Night (Japan-only) if you're into tactical RPGs
Persona 3 / 4
Nayuta no Kiseki if you love Ys: Oath of Felghana, it's in the same style
Gods Eater Burst, and its upcoming sequel
Final Fantasy Type-0

I would recommand Popolocrois, but the PS1 version.. PSP version is horribly shortened, stripped down plot-wise and gameplay-wise. Its only plus was it being in English.. Also Breath of Fire 3 / 4, Tail Concerto...

thanks il try to see some gameplay of narikiri dungeon x

Persona 3 / 4

Just a quick correction: Persona 4 is on Vita, not PSP.

To OP: PSP does have Persona 1, 2:Innocent Sin and 3 Portable though, all cracking games. Well, the first isn't very good but the other 2 are fantastic.

Disgaea and Persona series
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky great music, gameplay, and story
I finally finished the game
for action Phantasy Star Portable 1/2, God Eater (better than Monster Hunter + it has story)
