You should use DeSmume or No$Gba.
It depends on your specs too.
If you have a slow computer then both emulators will run slowly.
Also if you use No$Gba then make sure to use No$Zoomer with it.
It allows you to make the screens larger and more viewable while also allowing you to rotate it for other games you are planning to play.
DeSmume already has these features built in so you don't have to download a program separately.
Sometimes some games work with DeSmume but not with No$Gba and vice versa.
I hope I helped!
EDIT: I forgot to add that No$Gba has a bigger list of games compatible with it then DeSmume does.
I would recommend either No$GBA (with No$Zoomer) or DeSmume. Currently I am using DeSmume because it now supports real time saves (save/ load state. I think it is called real-time save.) Not sure if this has been implemented in No$GBA yet or not. Or you could be like me and get both since certain games are better on Desmume while others on no$gba. Hope that helps.
Desmume because its the only one of the two which is currently being updated.
Plus, its soon going to be the first DS emulator ever to support multiplayer and wifi!
