I still use gPSP 0.9 I believe... It's built for 1.50 so you can tell how old that one was...but it still works perfectly.

Nope, can't say I have. It should run though, it ran any game I threw at it.

Even though GPSP Kai hasn't been updated in forever, it seems to be the best. The GPSP-J in the emulation sticky doesn't support full screen scaling, and some games like Final Fantasy VI were running worse under it.

You mean UO GPSP kai 3.4 test 3 right? (naming files is always helpful for perpetuity).

How did GPSP mod 20090720 perform?

If you set the Display Mode to USER GU (I suppose that's a typo of GPU), with the default magnification value of 170%, you get this.

It doesn't take up the entire screen width because the GBA had a different aspect ratio than the PSP, and this emulator seems to want to preserve the aspect ratio.

i'm pretty sure GPSP-J is the best. (i haven't checked the stickies, just speaking from experience.)
it runs games perfectly and supports custom resolution scaling, as well as preset scales (1x 1.5x full screen/stretched). also, it's the only GBA emulator for PSP that supports zipping 32MB ROMs.
all others lock up when loading zipped ROMs that are 32MB, like mother 3, pokemon, kingdom hearts, etc.

it also supports minimal shortcuts, press L in the menu to load a new game, press R for savestate options? (95% sure of the R shortcut - i never use it.) and a screenshot feature.

its latest version is the latest of any GBA emu for PSP to be updated.

I use UO GPSP Kai 3.2 user 64M test 02.

I feel like I'm out of breath just writing that.

Anyway, that one has always been fine for me. The only problem I have with it is that the .cht files don't work (I assume it's because they use a file structure that isn't the same as the .cht files from GBATemps cheat section).

anyone know if any gba emulators for psp will run mario vs donkey kong the one i have crashes after i beat the first level
The one I mentioned above works fine. Or at least it allowed me to finish level 1-1 and get to level 1-2.

I never see one that uses the same .cht structure as the one from the GBAtemp cheat section

which emu uses that list anyway?
