holy shit if i use bottom screen, scaling off, with SGB borders, it looks perfect, no stretching, maybe only a subtle linear interpolation that doesn't bother at all.
It's the closest i've found in years to the DOS NO$GB i used to play on my computer back in 2002, which is how i was introduced to game boy to begin with.
