I'm trying to find a good, reliable pdf browser. anyone have any suggestions?

PDF Browser? you mean like Adobe Reader? If so Foxit Reader by Foxit Software is really the best alternative to adobe reader.

Browsers these days are about as good as it gets sans Adobe Reader itself. Chrome, Firefox, even IE and Edge all can read PDF files no problem, so you don't have to download any additional programs since you'll likely have any if the above already installed.

Editing PDFs is another thing, though, if that's what you want to do.

+1 for sumatra, works wonderfully and is pretty stable.

I use Microsoft EDGE, if you're not gonna edit the PDF you don't need to install anything else

Another vote for the simplicity of Sumatra. A really lightweight reader! Highly recommended.

Drive PDF viewer works good, for me at least.

I tend to just use the browsers or the OS default, maybe installing Adobe Reader as a backup.

So far I haven't had any issues, but then I never used any of the 'advanced' stuff.
