Gaming Best free firewall?

I'd like some opinions on what are the best free firewalls for Windows. I just ran out my trial of Windows OneCare (which lagged my PC something awful) and am looking for the best free one currently available. Thanks in advance!

If you are going to try Zone Alarm I suggest to just install the basic firewall so the bundled trial Antivirus does not get installed, Also I recommend NOT installing the new optional feature Spy Blocker, as it's run by the questionable search engine Ask.com. yep, either zone alarm or kerio. but personally, i find firewalls useless, just get a good antivirus.

Thanks guys! I know ZoneAlarm is widely used and liked, but it doesn't work too well on my old clunker of a PC. I asked to see if new firewalls were any better than the old ones. Been a while since I used one besides OneCare.

As for not using a firewall, I wouldn't dare NOT use one.

I think it has active protection too, but it's not a true firewall.

Well I never had a real problem, been using it for almost a year now

I also have Spybot on here, and scan at least 1 time in 2 weeks.

i never use a firewall either, i dont see the point in one. I find them to be more restrictive and hassle when it comes to using the internet.
