Discuss and share opinions on what is the best CIA installer, try to use nice arguments who can enhance your opinion and don't post unverified/incorrect information.

I am new to the scene, only used FBI, would be awesome to know why and when should I use any other, and where to find them (I can't find official site, or thread for bbm, devmenu, etc.). Thank you!

As in, faster to install? Because FBI takes like 1.5 hours to install a 3GB game, like MH4U or Xenoblade.

It only seemed to take me about 30 minutes to install MH4U and Xenoblade on my o3DS and n3DS respectively. I've never personally used anything besides FBI, but would BBM be faster?

I used FBI, DevMenu and BBM, and FBI is my favorite so far. Not really because of the speed (actually, I don't really care, I install stuff when I'm not going to use my 3DS, so... :P) but because of the UI (yes, I know it's only text, but it's nicer than the DevMenu / BBM font imo), and the distinct options it provides. The only downside is that it often crashes when doing mass-installs (all Retroarch emulators), so I'm using DevMenu for that instead.

Well, I first had to start with palantine, because it was the only way to get DevMen onto the shitty 4.5 CFW. Both had a around 10% Chance to actually work, which was really annoying. For some time I used BBM but then used DevMen again because I had some problems with it. When the time of the 9.2 CFWs arrived, I decided to go back to 9.2 and I used FBI since then. I think that FBI is the best one, because it has error handling, a good UI and fast install speeds.
