I currently have a DS Lite and I have no plans to upgrade in the future. Would the M3i zero be the best choice for me? Or should I go with something cheaper? Also whats the best place to order from from the US realhotstuff seems to be expensive, but I am looking for fast shipping.

Well, you can wait to Supercard DSTWO with GBA and SNES emulator full compatible if you have DSi of course.
Why?
That's a good question, shouldn't it work on the other DS's?
I presume the emulators will take advantage of the extra processing power the DSi has over the original DS, although they may still work but at a slower frame rate.

no...the DSTWO supports GBA/SNES emu on both DS/L and DSi,it uses its own hardware, this is true since even with the DSi hardware,it can't emulate GBA and SNES,plus,no way to take advantage of it's hardware in DS mode now will it ladies?
edit:a little common sense can go a long way

I had a problem getting a M3i Zero to work with my DS Lite (see thread), so I would recommend a M3 Real. Of course my M3i Zero troubles may have been an isolated issue, but if you don't plan on ever getting a DSi then the M3 Real will work great for you. Or you could wait for the DSTwo, but I'm not sure when that is coming out... plus, I've always been a fan of M3.

I live in the US and ordered from realhotstuff. They may cost a little more, but they are reliable and ship fast (they ship out of NJ).

Is there any real difference between the real and the zero? Does everything that works for the zero work for the real as well?

The only difference is the zero works on DSi. Other than that they are the same.
