Hi. I have to cheat all cards for Yu Gi Oh. I wanna learn how to cheat on the Switch safely (in terms of not destroying game saves). I remember last year I downloaded a homebrew it cheats all games automatically and ruined all saves. Then I panicked. Can anyone recommend a safe and updated method? Thank you.

To prevent Atmosphere from loading the Cheats automatically,
go to Atmosphere/config_templates/system_settings.ini
or Atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini & change:
Code:
; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1
or
; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0
to
dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0
Copy system_settings.ini from:
Atmosphere/config_templates/system_settings.ini
to
Atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini
Copy your Cheats to Atmosphere/contents/*Title ID*/cheats/*Build ID*.txt
If you want to make your own Cheats here's a Noob friendly Tutorial.
Make sure to use JKSV to backup your Savegame before you use any Cheats.
I really hate to sound like (that guy) but don't cheat in the game it will ruin your experience. If you get all the cards in the game you will just wreck all of your opponents and the game will get boring.
Maybe that's just me but all the homebrew refrenced below would worked...
I'm trying to stop using save states in emulators because it's frowned upon
Well when i played super mario lost levels I just rewinded where I died and fixed my error. When i beat the game I felt cheap and dissapointed because I needed to glitch to win. Doesn't really feel like I beat the game by myself. I'm kinda old school I like to play the game without looking at guides unless i get super stuck.

I do the same with all other games (Pokemon, mario, SSBU, etc) too. But with Yu-Gi-Oh! I prefer to get all the cards, make my own deck and beat the strong opponents with the decks I like, as I tried opening booster packs in game and it's taking (literally) forever to get 3 copies of the same card, let alone the card I want.
Thanks. Would you mind to tell me where do I get the latest sigpatches? I'm a bit out of the loop. I also forgot do I need to update the system software too?
