Best case for the 3rd gen (if it matters) iPod Touch?

does it protect the touch if it falls on the floor, does it protect the screen from breaking or only scratches.

HARD case. Not a screen protector thing...

Hard cases don't do well for drops, from experience. You probably want a soft case + that all-body screen protector.
