I have used the M3 Real for years and I believe the cards I have are starting to wear. I know some of the newer cards like the M3i Zero were made where the contacts were a lil better. Im really looking for some inexpensive cards for roms and some of the latest games. Not gonna run homebrew or anything

There is a lot of budget cards these days but the Acekard2-1 is a very good one and not too pricy ( the Acekard 2.1 and Acekard 2i: the former is dedicated to early DS models: the DS and DS Lite, while the Acekard 2i can be enjoyed no matter the DS you have-- it just works!). I stopped with G6 long ago since the support is down and I bypass the M3 too...I wouldn't by another card from Gbalpha team. CycloDS was a good choice too but is more expensive and there is now a new iEvolution for the same price with DSi support.

Supercard DSTWO is overhiped my 2 cents.

See there for more reviews and prices

I suggest threads with this kind of information be closed immediately, if we go as far as to eliminate links to the forum of a site that hosts roms, while the page has no links to pages or files containing illegal content.

We have complete knowledge that all he will use this for is copyright infringement.

SCDS2 is a card that you buy when you want certain things you can't get with other cards. GBA emulation for example, which is NONSENSE in your case, seeing how you got a DS Lite. You can nativley play GBA, so i think you should go with an Acekard 2i. Besides the SCDS2, it offers the best game compatability i have ever seen with any card and firmware, and i own a lot of different cards.

I'd recommend the acekard, together with AKAIO it's the "new" R4 with wood.

Unfortunatley, i own a DSi, so i can't tell you about the compatability with other slot-2 solutions. The card itself is excellent, fits smoothly, no bulges or anything.

It's Wifi-Updatable loaders, cheats and other things make it a very attractive card, that doesn't have to be expensive at all. Seeing how the DS is pretty much at the end of it's lifetime, Buying an Acekard and loading the latest AKAIO 1.8.5 will allow you to play a huge catalog of games, and AKAIO is always right on with Updates for newer games. Seeing how not much more games will come out, i think this is the best thing to do. Buy a genuine acekard, and you're set. If AKAIO supports the Acekard to the end of the DS game release cycle, then you can almost say you got 100% compatability with all games.

Why is this post not showing up?

there we go. wrap it in quote tags. Anybody else experiencing this?

and hey, we all know what flashcards are used for in 99% of all cases

he may be playing his own backups wink wink
and what about all the threads for people asking for AP patches, and actually delivering those patches? The circumvention of the copy protection mechanism is a criminal ofense, just like pirating games. Does anybody even care about that? Nope, its all good in the name of playing your own backup games that you physically own. oh please come on..... just don't openly admit that you are pirating and you are in posession of pirated games.

ok let me rephrase then, Im looking for a card with good build quality, yet cheap.
R4 revolution is about $3 at Lightake. Probably the most popular flashcard of all time and still one of the best. Runs the excellent Wood firmware.
