This is the idea: which is the best Bluetooth dongle for PS4 controllers that you can say has no lag and works with nintendont?

Lag depends on your environment as the more 2.4Ghz signals in your area (WiFi, Bluetooth, Cordless phones, wireless periferals, microwaves, etc) the greater the interference and the greater the lag.

I’ve been less than 10cm from the Receiver and still experienced lag because of how many different signals there were in my area.

But generally, any Bluetooth 5.0 dongle would do. They’re backwards compatible and generally can keep a stronger signal than older generations.

I’m partial to the 8BitDo Retro Receivers, regardless of system. But they do a USB one for Windows/Mac/Linux/Android.

Always found them to be good when it comes to lag and you get the flexibility of using their range of controllers, DualShock 3/4, Xbox One, Wii U, JoyCons, Switch Pro Controller and a couple I’ve probably forgotten.

I bought a Magic NS. My experience is rather good. Is perfect to connect your PS4 controllers to switch or PC (easier to configure at least).

I'm about to try it in Wii (using Nintendon't via USB Loader GX). Let you know how it goes.

Regards.

is your controller the old one or the new one?

You mean my Dualshock? Is a Dualshock 4 V1 the one that I usually use with other devices. I could try the V2 (have one as well) if you want as soon as I get home but I don't see why it should have any issues.

Want to check for compatibility aspects?

the v1 is compatible just with a usb cable. i need to know if the v2 (aka the one that has a touchpad with a clear part so light can pass through it) because i don’t have an old one. from what ive heard it works via usb (only with magic ns) and wirelessly also with that dongle. thanks for helping me!

You happen to know if that one works with the Switch pro controller?
You mean, on the PC? It does actually but I think it isn't that hard to connect the Switch Pro Controller to the PC via Bluetooth (unless you don't have one built in) and use it even for Steam if you will.

In that case, you are good to go with it. Works great even emulating the "mapping" as if it where an XBox360 controller, the same for the PS4.

You can configure all of it obviously depending on the software you want to use it with.

No I need you to check if it works with the magic ns because no one but you can help me. Then please tell me if it worked (Wired, wireless or both) and please also try it with hidtest

Anyway I can find instructions on how to make a "hidtest"? I have never done any. Tried a quicksearch but are usually results.

That still sounds pushy though haha. Anyway, it works as a charm with both the V1 and V2 Dualshock 4. Doesn't support audio which would be awesome but still. Hope it helps you.
