Hey, I was wondering what most people might use to convert audio files between certain formats.
I found a neat application called Bigasoft Audio Converter 5 that transfers a few file formats of music to other formats without loss in quality (at least any noticeable quality.) But I was curious what the most popular application is,

Its not such a big deal when working on stuff right now but I'd assume I would need something like this at some point when working on other types of media,
If I even do at some point :P.

Audacity is what I use and I'm assuming it's the choice of many others.

    Depends of your usage.

Batch conversion? Exotic to another exotic format?

Audacity is pretty good for this if you only have some files.

I personally go with XMplay and it input plugins to .mp3 when I want to convert files en masse.

I use XLD, which is the OS X equivalent of EAC. It's perfect for ripping and converting lossless tracks.
