I've always gone with Sandisk Pro Duo sticks, as apparently they were a bit faster than the Sony ones. And I've noticed, too - Both my 2GB and 4GB Gaming Edition Sandisk sticks were quicker (albeit only slightly) than the 1GB Sony that originally came with my PSP.

Now I'm looking to get an 8GB MS, and hearing that the Sony 8GB sticks are actually faster. Also, I've read that the normal Sandisk Pro Duos are identical, in terms of speed, to the Gaming Edition sticks. With the only difference being the shell colour.

Anyone have more info on this? Or should I just go for whichever's cheapest? [IMG]

I've never had problems with a sandisk memory card yet. That's enough reason to buy one over sony.

That is very cheap for 8GB though. IMO, you should get it. [IMG]

Sandisk ones have far better quality than Sony's.

I know the Sandisk Pro Duos are reliable enough (I've been using them myself for over two years), I just wanted to know if they were actually faster than Sony, and other brands.

Can't complain for £35 though, that's almost half the price of what the Sony ones usually go for. [IMG]
