I was just thinking about benchmarking different MicroSD's and was wondering... Is there a homebrew DS app that can benchmark the MicroSD in Slot1 (effectively just reading/writing to the cartridge) on a DS, and if not, can it be done? The reason I ask is that tests on a PC will indeed show differences between brands of MicroSD's but limited to within the PC environment and this does not always reflect 'real-life' on the DS itself. After all, on a PC there are many variables that can affect the benchmark such as other processes running, the PC hardware itself, the card reader used, etc. Plus what seems like a good PC benchmark score may indeed be different for the way the flashcart reads it and it's performance running NDS software. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this to me seems like a good idea as there would be a greater reduction in variables so many people could benchmark and collate results to form a central database with little margin for error.
