Hacking Before i will do the custumization

Old 3ds xl fw. 9.2
1. Im on gateway emunand will it be deleted.
2. Do i have to format my big sd before doing the customization or is it ok to continue without formatting the sd.(full format including emunand)
3. Will i still be able to use my gateway redcard.
4.Is class 4 big sd ok to use on customization or do i need a higher speed sd.
5. How important will the internet be while customizing.(slow internet)
6. Its been more than a year since the last time i used my 3ds, i found out that somehow i used rxtools when i was editing my legit cart of pokemon y and omega ruby. Will that affect my custumizing. Forgot how to used it anymore.

1) end of the guide tells you how to transfer your emunand to your sysnand
2) safest to backup, then full format your SD
3)yes
4) SD speed doesn't really matter, it will only affect how fast the process actually gets done.
5) slow internet might be a slight problem, but only to some people.
You should be fine with any thing decent though.
6) switching from RX won't affect a thing

Oh and your emunand won't per say be deleted, but only transfered to your sysnand. If you'd like, you can continue using emunand after you install a9lh, if you feel comfortable with it

Thanks a lot for the responses. I cannot do it right now my internet sucks. Is there a way to download the file in advance or the 3ds will update itself with that amount of file size.

Your situation is a tough one. Slow SD+slow internet= slow download.

Excitement is gone low now. My only problem now before i start is the slow internet. I have 32gb class 4 big sd and 32gb class 10 microsd. Both lexar.

Format and use the class 10 only if you want to do it just a tad faster. No answer for the internet other then use a different SSID or just wait it out. Sorry :/

Thanks for the reply though. If i didnt know that it was that big of a file to download i might already messed up my 3ds. Thanks a lot for your help.
