Some of you might recall me having some serious issues configuring a newly modded Vita.

I eventually mailed it to someone to fix everything. Come to find out the 256G MicroSD card I had purchased from a 3rd party vendor on Amazon was a fake, and only had 32G of working memory!

Thankfully that person sold me a legit card for the same price I had paid for the fake one, and even loaded my Vita with a ton of games and emulators. It runs great now!

Hoping this doesn't happen to anyone else. Check your cards after purchase. Mine wasn't even in original packaging which should have been a red flag, but after researching I've discovered that even the packaging can be believably faked.

did you buy a non-branded one or was it a SD card trying to pass for a real one? (Sandisk and Samsung fakes are most common on amazon)

It was sold as a "Sandisk" card, and to be honest looked pretty convincing. Once I started doing internet research I realized the small differences in labeling such as color and font type
