Running a test
BatterySteve is a lightweight and easy-to-use tool for testing the real capacity of your PSP battery! No more guessing how much juice is left in your tired 'ol battery!
  • Renders a 2D+3D Scene to give the system some "real" load
  • Choose between a 222 or a 333 Mhz CPU speed
  • Works with all PSP models (1000, 2000, 3000, Go, Street)
  • Compatible with official Sony and third-party batteries*
  • Runs till you run out of battery & shows the runtime after. Also saves the last run to score.old.txt !
Street/GO users: you might need to start the test by pressing Select when you have a full battery, those devices do not have proper battery management and I cant reliably figure out if your battery is full.

Download from: The Website / GBATemp

(the website is the first link because I might not remember to update the GBATemp resource lmao)

New release!
1.2.5: BatterySteve now takes a screenshot after each run, saved to the BatterySteve folder (there's a bug that causes it to not be in the actual runs folder).

From the website, I'll update the gbatemp resource after the weekend if i remember!
