Hacking battery life!

With the 4 brightness settings I noticed on the brightest setting my battery life on my ds lite is done for lol. What is the normal brightness setting like for Stock Game cards? I don't mind it being bright i just like my ds dying after like 4-6 hours lol

Well, the "stock" brightness setting is whatever YOU set it at. The backlight eats more power than anything else in the DS, so the lower you go with the brightness, the longer the battery will last. Whatever brightness level YOU set will be what brightness level a stock game card will play in, so set the brightness to the lowest level you can tolerate to maximize battery life.

I usually never go beyond the 2 lowest brightness levels myself. In almost all cases, they are bright enough for me.
