Hacking Battered and beaten phat ds

The condition of the ds is a broken hinge, and broken game slot.

I realize the hinge is easy to fix with a new case, $7 from dx.

And I will be purchasing a tri-wing screw driver.

Why is the DS all messed up?

His sister is urhm "special" and got a hold of it.

I mean the hinge wiggles around, is this because the plastic is gone.

When I replaced my brother's DS case the metal hinge was in perfect condition, it was just the plastic was broken. I'm assuming the same thing goes for your case.
