vita security is so beefed up its still not close to being hacked. But the security is what ruined the system. That was the point i was trying to get at.

Why cant they just reboot mario? i dont need a gimmick for mario, its why mario 64 is still the best. Just give the music some creative jumpy juices and im good to go. The underground levels are easily the most boring levels.

NOW if they added 4 player online mode like Triforce Heroes, that would be interesting...

For me Mario galaxy was way better. The physics system is still leagues beyond most other platformer games.
I would totally go for super paper Mario 2.

Nintendo is gonna have to produce a lot day one units to stay relevant and not immediately sell out if they do in fact release a honest game system. but then again this can happen again too.

Well... kind of. For instance, trading a pistol out for a bow, but still making swordplay more practical. Literally just a Zelda game but in a modern/alternate future environment

Reminds me of the green arrow. Probably use magic in place for guns for enemies.

My NX console

- Sleek design like the PS4
- 6 - 8 gigs of GDDR5 ram
- Day one games include Lugi's Mansion 3 Splatoon NX and Smash NX as well as Bayonetta 3
- Can use any of the previous controllers from GameCube and above (Gamepad, Wii remote, gamecube) (has gamecube controller ports built in)
- X86 processor so it is cheaper
- Good third party support
- Unreal Engine and Unity support
- Something where you can use your phone as a Wii U gamepad controller (backwards compatibility)
- No disc or cartridges (So I can stop hording nintendo games for awhile)
- Can play any NX game on the go with cloud saves (like minecraft for vita and PS4)
- The handheld has 3G support (unless the handheld is your phone)

Built-in GameCube controller ports, just isn't going happen. They'll sell more adaptors because not everyone wants that.
NX, base on all these patents seems to be a touch screen controller anyway.
How about you just don't buy physical and we get to keep at least cartridges.
If they do 3g, they may as just do 4G at this point.

My inside scrotum says that the nintedo nx may not be a game console at all but rather a game service following the footsteps of cable companies and rental services such as gamefly and redbox.

It with be a ouya/steambox cable box console and youll be able to order the service using this box for a $200 upfront and a 5 yr agreement of $30/monthly starting after the first month. The games itself will be downloadable or streamed from offsite servers and also be able to be rented using a system similar to redbox and gamefly although consumers themselves cannot purchase the game itself... Any early termination will result in a fee of $200 and will result in punishment by nintendo. The punishment being a nintendo employee showing up and jamming a wiimote sideways into ones rectum

I don't know why else they would go with cartridges other than the handheld aspect of it. Seeing as how their Wii U titles use 24 GB BluRay discs (which rarely contain more than 5 GB anyway), the storage capacity isn't an issue. The 3DS uses cartridges as big as 4 GB, so does that mean they've designed cartridges that can hold up to 24 GB or more? It would seem that way, especially if the rumors about the NX being more powerful than the PS4 are true. Pffft, yeah, right.

MicroSD cards go up to 256gb easy with 2tb price at $1000

Unless they gave the rumored wiiu ports for free along with the system like mario/duckhunt or supermarioworld i dont see incentive for previous wiiu owner to ditch the system just to buy the same games again or ps4 owners the buy it. Again they are already late ps4 having sold 40mil+ and xbox1 20mil+. Looking at last gens sales of ps3/xb360 each selling about 70mil=150mil buyers the market is actually probably around 120mil if buyer bought both consoles making nintendo halfway late to the gen8 runnings. They cant drop the ball at e3, thats for sure

console gaming will always exists. why? because its solely based on the nostalgia of a family member or friend sitting in the living room playing on a console or sitting during recess and playing on a handheld with more people gravitating toward the name brand product. (in my childhood) would you rather sit and watch someone play on a gameboy or sit and watch someone play a two button cheap generic game thing like a 'game and watch' console. (present) rather sit and watch someone play 'insert epic game' on a 3ds or candy crush on a phone?

Putting a child alone in a room with a pc for hours is not a parent thing to do. Putting a pc in the family living room is not a woman or picky person thing to do, its too bulky and ugly to match any sort of decore resembling a functional house or living quarters.

Its the aim of all gaming/entertainment consoles nowadays to match those criteria.

The problem with the nx lies within the rumores themselves, i feel like people read the comments on this topic post alone and make youtube videos off our little conversation lol
