Hacking Banner Bricked ... plzz help

OK .. so i Banner Bricked my Wii by installing a "Bad" Wad ...

-My system vertion is 3.2E
-I have NOT installed Bootmii in boot2 or as IOS
-I did not install Starfall or any other protection app (yea i know i was careless)
-I do have a Game Cube Controler
-I do NOT have any installed chip on my Wii


I know antill now that i need to install a Chip ... so that i have any luck with fixing it ...
and after i install the chip ... i must use the Wad Manager Autoboot iso ...

My questions are ....

1.
What Chip should i buy ?


2.
Since i deleted the Bad Wad from my SD card ... how will i delete it now
using the wad manager from my wii???

3.
I have heard.. that i do not need a chip if my System vertion is 3.2
by using the Game Cube controller ... and an Autoboot disk ....
is this true ?? , and if yes ... How do i do it ???

OK, let see here:

1. That depends on your preference and the chipset in your drive. Many people tend to get Wiikey's though.

2. Either re-download the bad wad, or see if you can find an auto-boot Any Title Deleter disc instead.

3. No its not. You do need that GC controller trick to launch the autoboot disc, but it only works with a chip.

First install the chip. Then, burn the autoboot disc and put it in the drive. Take apart a GC controller and plug it in to port 4 on the wii. With the controller apart, press all 4 directions on the D-Pad at the same time. Hold these down and turn on the wii. You'll get a screen with (3.2E) in the corner. Shortly after, the wii will start the autoboot disc.

Next, it's a matter of figuring out how to remove that channel. If you can get the wad again, do so and use wad manager. Otherwise - Do you know what its Title ID is? If not, removing it means looking up every title id in the "Installed Channels" section of AnyTitle Deleter, and figuring out which one it is. *DO NOT just delete stuff randomly with this tool. That's a great way to further brick your wii! *

the best modchip ever.
since your on 3.2 you can run an autobooting version a wad manager.
redownload the bad wad, run wadmanager and uninstall it.
your lucky you happened to be on 3.2

Similar problem.

So yeah, installed a WAD, and it bricked my Wii. Get the Press A screen, then the menu sound and a black screen.

I'm on 3.2E at the moment, no mod-chip, no Starfall installed, HBC is on there, but Twilight Hack save is no longer on my Wii, manged to use SaveMii with the GC controller though... I'm fucked aren't I?

if you were on any other firmware, yes you might be.

Yes, you do need a chip follow xzxero steps to fix it. Find the bad wad you had and re download.

Okay, once installed, will it autoboot without having to change anything?

Also, is it possible to remove the chip afterwards and have the Wii "back to normal"?

Just get an unsolderable chip, like drivekey(?) it connects to the DVD ribbon so you don't need to solder.

Yeah, that's what I meant, is that possible with the DriveKey.

I'm gonna wait to hear back from Nintendo, but I expect they'll want to charge me, so I'll probably pick one up. Any links on the best price for one?

Also ... the D-pad that you mentioned on the GC controller is the Cross Pad???
Not the Grey analog ... not the yellow analog .... the Grey "Cross"

And now another question .. after i open the GC controller
and use it to boot ... when i put it all together again ... will it still fanction correctly??

1. Truly solderless. Since your flag says US, you might want to order closer, shipping is a pain. Video of Drivekey Try somewhere in Canada or US.

2. Yes, that is the Tri Wing screwdriver needed

PS: Maybe try and go to the front page and look at the links to the stores GBATemp has up, they sell modchips I'm pretty sure.
EDIT: Here's a store that's loacted in the USA, even comes with the screwdrivers needed to open up the wii!

EDIT: You found the wad? So you just need a auto boot disc of WAD manager. I'm pretty sure someone will give you a link.
