Hi, I recently got a new OLED switch to replace my old one and I am planning to mod my old switch. Now I am wondering if I transferred the user data from my old switch to the new one, and I get banned on the old switch (either account or console ban), will my OLED switch also be banned?

Yes. Because the ban is linked to both your account and the devices that use it.

Thanks for the quick response. What if I do a factory reset on the old switch before modding it? does it matter?

Usually they do unit ban, not account ban, unless you do a chargeback, then they will ban your account.
