Hacking Question Banned Switch save transferring. Need help ASAP

Hi everyone! My Nintendo Switch has been banned recently, I've used CFW (SXOS), so that's why.
Before the ban, I used to play online, especially Splatoon 2. I really miss it, so I'm planning to buy a new Switch to play online games. I'll probably use a new Nintendo account, I don't want to take any risks and get banned again. I've spent too many hours on my Switch so I don't want to lose all my legit save files.
A friend of mine has got a hacked and unbanned Nintendo Switch, and I was wondering if I could use it to get my save files back to the new Switch.
My idea is to create a backup of every game on my banned Switch, create a new user on my friend's Switch and restore all of them.
If I transfer the user containing the backups from my friend's Switch to the unhacked Switch, will it get banned or is it 100% safe? I need a solution ASAP, so I appreciate your help.

By backup, do you mean with a homebrew program or the official cloud save backup? Also are they the games or save files only?

I'll use Checkpoint to backup the save files, I don't have access to the Cloud. The saves I want to transfer are saves from my 100% legit games, I've got the physical copies at home. Also there's no point in using the Cloud, I'm going to create a new Nintendo Account to avoid any ban risks. I'll keep my hacked Switch to play downloaded games and use a clean one for all of my legit games.

EDIT: All I want to know is if the clean Switch I'm planning to buy will get banned when transferring an user from my friend's hacked Switch.

Hm, if you're using checkpoint to transfer your saves from your banned switch to your friend's switch that would warrant a ban, but I'm not so sure about this situation. I wouldn't call it completely safe as checkpoint is still considered dangerous, but maybe if you do the official transfer method from your friend's console to the new one, you could be fine. If you really want to, maybe just transfer saves for your physical/purchased games, but I wouldn't bet 100% on it.

TLDR: the safest way I can imagine is checkpoint from banned to unbanned switch, then unbanned switch to new switch through official transfer.

Thanks for your help, I'll think about it. Anyway, all the saves I want to transfer are 100% legit, I never modified them, so I hope it's fine. Also, my friend doesn't use online features at all so he doesn't really care about getting banned.

You're gonna get your friends switch banned in the process. Also if you buy a new switch you're likely to get an unhackable one. Why in the world would you have taken your CFW online? People will never learn.

Yeah, I admit it was my mistake, I must've done something wrong to get banned, even if I can't remember it. But if he's gonna get banned for sure, then I won't do it, I don't want to get more consoles banned in the process. And btw, I don't want to buy a hackable Switch. Thanks for your comment, I guess.


EDIT: I know no one cares about this, but the only games I played online were totally legit.

Someone has contacted nintendo over this concern in another thread and that was the official response they got. Strongly advise against connecting to nintendos servers after using a save editor .

Correct, stay clean and regardless of the old switch you wont get banned.

Modifying saves AND go online with them is an insta-ban. Tl;dr going online with an modified save, is a stupid idea.

So let me see if I got this right....

If I am reading this right you risk ban and its basically guaranteed if you transfer something like oh say ACNH save file with some injected items(infact I know you will get banned from acnh online if they catch on). If I am trying to get my save data progress for something offline say Tales of Vesperia would that make it okay and not get me banned? I should note, I have my save files backed up on pc so that's how I would transfer them. I have no problem starting over if the risk is higher than reward.

There is always a risk of getting banned when you go online with a hacked console.
