Welp it froze again at comparing RAM dump #01 im done ive wasted 4 dollars already

It's been said multiple times, but always do an 8bit search. Put the value you see in the game (5, 4, 3 or whatever number of goes you have left). Then use one go and go back and search again for one less (ie, 4, 3, 2, etc..). Use the exact value search.
It should show up after the second or third search.

i use 32bit searches, i think the value is 32bit not 8bit. (i mean, i think you can have values over 255)
32bit searches should be better because there are less of them, compared to 4x more 8bit values

Ok im gonna take your word fish, im gonna potentially waste 1 more dollar and do a 32bit search instead of 8 and pray my console does not freeze when comparing ram dumps.

well, it should not really matter, because the value will be contained within 8bits anyway.
if you are freezing... i'm not sure why, sorry
find the training address and and take away 3E0B10.
when you are about to use your free play, look in the hex editor at that new address's value. see if it is 01 or something, make it 20

So..... the console just made a really nasty pop sound when I left it searching that ram dump got a black screen for 3 power ons but now it seems to be working again. I think ill just not bother with badges anymore.

fun fact: if you open the cheat menu and do a ram dump at the main menu (where u can select the badge catcher/practice catcher/etc) the music stops and it sounds like a cheap casino game

I've seen a lot of people asking about people without gateways getting something like this going. Would an app be able to be developed for Homebrew? Something you can run like Hans? You select the title and it loads a game and up pops a transparent overlay you can toggle on and off?

My new offsets are nearly the same:

Practice: 26824E5C
Real: 2646AD4C

I'm sure they were "3" and not "2" whilst I was performing the search, but when I saved the codes from the in-game menu they became 2 instead.
Not sure why but they still work it seems.

but you don't need to pause game to use spider, just push HOMEthen launch browser
