This is _exactly_ how things had been going, especially since someone said on discord's voice channel yesterday that he outright wished to continue Hitler's legacy to me, knowing I am a Jew:

Just how many unhinged people are there in most discord channels? I'm used to being around stable people working on small projects online, not sociopaths.

I did ask him if Hitler or his kids could join us for our talk show, and tell me to my face that he hates me since I am a Jew that is alive and well. I have a way with snark even amidst cruel behavior. That took him off guard completely.

he eventually gave up out of rage and being soundly defeated in a logical debate. The turning point was me allowing myself to get angry, then as he scoffed me, I immediately reeled myself back to being super calm and relaxed in an instant. he had never seen someone with that complete emotional control before, and realized that he was outdone by his own attempt to anger me; he fell into his own "ragebait" net. After that, he pouted and left.

It's the same thing I see in karate, honestly. they think they got you because they try to get you angry, but then they are utterly blindsided to find out that you _let_ yourself get angry, without losing self-control, and immediately are able to reel your anger back in at will. _That_ is full emotional control, not a lack of emotion and being soulless.
