heh anyone up for a bad code coding competition?
So that's how this came around, now for the rules
Make the best game with the shittiest code cause proper coding is for pussies! (But seriously.... we still recommend you code properly, and sober)
Its like dressing your code up for halloween... making it all ugly and stuff....
The theme for this competition is Halloween and everyone can enter (judges may enter but are ineligible for prizes).
This competition ends Octorber 31st!
-Must include a disclaimer at top of source descripting the suckieness of code
-Must be a game
-Source code must be submitted
-All BG layers must be used,more sound is better,lots of sprites is good too and more stuff that take up resources is recomended!
-Must contain at least 10 bad coding habbits, the more the better!
-must contain splash
-Must be stable enough to play a round or two
-must have 10 minutes of gameplay
-no empty loops
-must have a frame rate display
-must use 2D modes (No hardware 3d, software allowed)
-Optional: calculate pi constantly in background: brownie points for the guys who do it Tongue
Prizes:
guaranteed: $2 + used G6 with entries on them (no reader)
pick: pick: new acekdard2 / new shirt w/ splash screen / price of shirt
The judges so far are BassAceGold and trippy.
This competition will be canceled if there are less then 5 entries, so please don't be afraid to enter!
