Mario Party 8 (scrubbed): working flawlessly (burned on Verbatim DVD-R)
Zack & Wiki (scrubbed): working flawlessly
Super Mario Galaxy (1:1): working, video strutters a little
Mario Kart Wii (1:1): working, video strutters a little, WiFi working!!!!!

All games are PAL and tested on a PAL Wii, chip GC2-DMS, firmware 3.2E, with default loader options, burned on Verbatim DVD+R booktyped DVD-ROM (except where otherwise noted) with a BENQ DW1670.

I agree with the results as posted above, the one thing that I did notice with regards SMG is that when you press the home botton to pause the game (nintendo screen) for a few seconds and when you resume back to the game the video will stream better for a few seconds before returning to the video stutter. I dont know if this would be useful feedback for wiigator? If the video streaming process can be qweaked a little further i reckon they will have cracked it.

Smarty Pants - worked well
Mario Strikers - worked well
The Sims Castaway - worked well
Smarty Pants - worked well
Wii Play - worked well
Action Girl Racing - worked well

Mario & Sonic Olympics (disc error)
The Simpsons (disc error - after safety screen)

Big Beach Sports, crashes whilst trying to create a profile.
House of the Dead 2 simply stalls after the main title selection screen.

i burnt Wii Music (NTSC-U) onto a DVD-R (I have a PAL Wii). firstly i got dvd identify error, so i burnt it using a different drive, and i got past the jumbled letters.
then it said something about no sd codes, so i put ocarina off. now it got rid of 'no sd codes' but still it won't get past that screen with the information. I have changed the Hooktype (what does that mean?) and and between force PAL60 and PAL50. Also, I use a component cable. some say that it freezes at a green screen, i haven't even got to a green screen yet

Man, dont use 1:1 backup

1. patch the iso before burning
2. Run the game with all setting default. (just press launch game)

There is no reason not to use a 1:1 copy, my copy of wii music is 1:1 (and yes its ntsc) i have absolutely no problems with it. you may have a bad copy. so either re rip or re-download. And make sure you are using .3 with the latest wiigator cios. not the old .1 cios fix, which i think alot of people are mixing up.

my first experience with wii backup loaders was about 3 hours after .3 was released so i know nothing about v.1

how can you have a firmware 3.2E if you don't remove the firmware update?
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean.

I think you are asking how I skip the update check? Well, firstly the backup loader blocks the updates automatically so blocking them manually is unnecessary. Secondly I have starfall installed as I said, which also blocks the update checks.

That was my question, sorry if my english is not clear enough, I'm a poor french man :-)
I didn't know backup launcher can block updates.
So I will re-burn the ISO and we will see if it fix my problem.
thanks for your help

hey guys I havent seen this read_retry cios installer anywhere anybody have a link also should I uninstalled the new cios before installing it

Lego Star Wars PAL ' patched ' : works great but blue screen at Episode 2 Chap 1

All of them are unpatched and I used Maxell DVD-R I burned them at 4x speed
Dairantou Smash Brothers X Dual Layer NTSC-J I used Memorex DVD+R and that was burned at 4x Speed aswell.

I'll get more games later to test even my own!

This may help you with wario I also had the ntsc/u wario black screen to fix this get the pal version do not patch it
when the loader comes up select force ntsc and it will work on an ntsc wii plays fine opening video studders a little
like mario galaxy but game plays fine and it's a fun game...... have fun

I'm curious is it possible to use the 0.1 launcher after installing the 0.3 or does the new cios not work with the 0.1 launcher

Tested on my Wii 3.3 with loader 0.3 without re-read fix

Working:

Wario Land Shake It PAL DVD-R @ 2x (MAXELL) UNPATCHED NO WORKAROUNDS played until 2nd level, load times very good, only intro stutters a bit

Not working:

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 PAL DVD-R @ 2x (MAXELL) UNPATCHED got the 'press the eject and turn of your Wii system' error

I'm amazed how good this thing works, damn nice work Wiigator and Waninkoko !

Why would you want too?

Version 1 is horrible compared to V3

I dont think it would work with the new CIOS installed anyway

everything about v3 is great except that it cant play Star wars FU and V1 can, So i'm curious if i could use v1 to play star wars and v3 for everything else

Working
Game: One Piece Unlimited Adventure // NTSC-U
Firmware: 3.2U
Patched?: Yes.
Notes: Runs pretty much perfectly as far as I've played. Some slowdown in cutscenes, but it isn't much of a slowdown.

HAs anyone have experienced better compatibility burning at 2x? i use dvd-r and have a 3.3 us wii . so far most of my game like spider man web of shadows work at 2 x and dont work at 4 or even 3 x, tried spiderman at 3x and had the error at start up.

I have been unable to get the two to work together.
