If you updated with the 3.3 update from a few days ago but have a Custom IOS installed, you could possibly use Waninkoko's IOS downgrader to revert to an older IOS which SHOULD and I say SHOULD mean you can just follow the normal instructions. I didn't upgrade though, so I'm unsure if it works or not. Try it, can't hurt.

If you don't have a cIOS... You're at a dead end for now. See what happens in the future.

Let me make this perfectly clear, I already tried the downgrader and it just pops up with a black screen then restarts.

Ya I did the test on both of my Wiis. The Legit and Homebrew one. The new update is preventing it from installing. What's funny I thought it was the old Cios File. So I removed it, and now That Wii's homebrew is dead. Thank god I have 3 of them.

Mario Kart Wii (NTSC - Patched) on Wii 3.2U

Works fine so far. Does not freeze after GP races and I was able to connect to WiFi and play against people on there.

Great work WiiGator / Waninkoko! This is a great step forward! Even without 100% compatibility yet, this still saves me from having to use my precious originals for the games that do work

Does this custom IOS and this backup launcher have an influence on my legit games?

If I'm not happy of it is there a way to uninstall both the custom IOS and the backup launcher so that my Wii will work as before?

was it a 1:1 copy or a patched one? mine was patched, not sure if that made a difference

No. 1:1 means an exact copy of the original game.

I also didn't uninstall previous custom IOS just installed new loader and downloaded necessary files via wifi. Works like a charm

Should I bother uninstalling cios36_rev5? I tried uninstalling it with the wad manager and it just gave me an error (-1).

So far Endless Ocean PAL patched works flawlessly on my NTSC wii when forced NTSC, I waited a while to be able to play that.

Dragon Quest Swords PAL works B & W if not forced (only AV), and Green Screen Forced NTSC.

Ok, none of my games work all that well... some will only play for about 5 min, then the "Eject Disc" error code... some freeze at the start, and some dump me back to the Wii menu

When I try to uninstall 249, I get error ret = -2011

can anyone help me?
