haha, that's the only way I could explain it to my wife... since the new update is still 3.3, and I'm on 3.3... I started to call it 3.4, but she wondered why screen shots didn't have 3.4 in them...

so, at least in my house, it's 3.3a (wad installalbe) and 3.3b (evil new update!)

It makes more sense to call the new update IOS51 or Signing bug fix update since those are the changes it makes. 3.3b would imply that the system menu was changed, and this update makes no changes to the system menu (FYI the 3.2/3.3/3.4 refers to the version of the system menu and has nothing to do with an update in general).

On topic: can't wait for the new loader

Wife's playing WiiMusic on 3.3a, playing the handbell thing now... O' Christmas Tree... she's been at it for like an hour now, lol...

Use the blue topped backup loader (found it has the hookfix)

Just leave the settings alone, don't change anything if your using NTSC tv/wii, just hit A to launch...

Each wii game is made to run on a specific IOS. According to wiigator, games that use IOS21 or lower will not work on the back up loader beta for some reason. It is possible to patch the game to use a higher IOS, though. It'd be more convenient if the loader could load up those games without patching, though.
Is there a list of which games use IOS21 or lower? Or a list of which games use which IOS in general?

There's about 50 different modes in WiiMusic, once you unlock them all... but really, it's a game for everyone... hardcore players, noob's, women, children, elderly...

Miyamoto hit it out of the park on this one!

While we're off-topic, yeah, Wii Music is cool. I've been having some fun today with the US version WiiFrii'd to PAL...
Even an uncoordinated idiot like me can string some sort of tune out of it.

Has anyone seen this yet?

It looks to be a "Semi-work around" to the new update in regards to the Wiishop. Good to see people already finding ways to get around it.

I said screw it.. and tried the workaround so wish me luck when Gator ever releases this for us to test...

My first post so i hope somebody gets some use out of it.

In playing the various version of Guitar Hero with Backup Launcher i'd become accustomed to pausing and resuming several times when the
scroll bar appears to get the music in sync. But yesterday when i loaded up Guitar Hero World Tour i was happily suprised to see that the
music loaded up in sync every time on the first try without having to pause and resume. I didn't think much about it at the time but was just
happy to see it playing correctly. Then when i got home from work today I answered a forum message of somebody looking to play some GHWT
online, so i turned my wifi on and loaded the game up. So for a warmup i loaded up a song and when the scrolling started it was jerky and
stuttering. It was almost as jerky as GH Rock Band Edition Custom was. That game was unplayable for me. would not scroll at a playable
speed. At this point a little light went off in my head.

Being like most of you here, i hack the hell out of every device i have, from Itouch
to PocketPC to WII and on and on and on..... And all the Wii fun involves sending files to the SD or Wii in one way or another, and my WiFi has
always been on and rarely turned off. Well, I turned it off After the news of the Update hit just to be on the safe side. Lo and behold, it was
the WiFi just being on that caused all the problems with the Guitar Hero games syncing. With WiFi turned OFF, The following versions of Guitar
Hero I have all play flawlessly. Except through WiFi connect of course.

Guitar Hero 3 GH1 Custom - Plays Perfect
Guitar Hero 3 GH2 Custom - Plays Perfect
Guitar Hero Aerosmith - Plays Perfect
Guitar Hero 3 - Plays Perfect
Guitar Hero 3 Rock Band Edition - Plays Perfect
Guitar Hero World Tour - Plays Perfect

All the above loaded through WiiGator 0.1 through GeckOS and Hook Type GC Pad

It almost seems as though the loader is either causing an interupt conflict or a TCP stack problem. Whatever it is though, i can now play all the
guitar hero stuff with no sync problems. And to top it off as an added benefit. It seems having the wifi off makes the performance of the game
(even the original GH3) so much smoother that my scores have greatly increased. It's almost easy to play songs perfect now.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.

He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.
