Standard wii games are written differently - the read from the outside in instead of the inside out (or visa versa) - the copied discs read the opposite way so they need a a few changes to read which means they read at a slower speed.

Uhh... No. Definetly not. They're read the same way.

The new one looks good... I noticed that the colors are slightly off from each other in the original disc loader and the .3 loader.... was that from 2 different displays or the same....an image is definately worth a millions words now a days... anyways... we are all definately excited to see this all work.. and once again thanks to Wiigator and his team of testers for all the "hard work" they are doing....

I am guessing that video is showing a comparison of the 3 loaders all started together? Correct?

And no offense but I tried that "new" forum dedicated to his work and it seemed a little old news compared to this one... I am sticking with GBAtemp... I mean this is where it started for me and this is where I will continue to watch the Jerry Springer backup launcher exposed PPV exclusive...hehe

what i would like to hear now,
is a post from wiigator,
saying what's done,
what needs to be done,
and how long he think's it will take.
He already said these things.
He said it's complete, but he just wants to bugfix and compatibility check the games, as well as finish the patched ISO loader mode.
He is aiming for the 3rd week of November.

LOL renders my post obsolete

yah, theres a problem with some patched games, well for me, but the unpatched versions worked flawlessly.

I don't think we have got any confirmation about that "3rd week of november" release date. I am not saying you are lying Zidane but I am still keeping my fingers crossed. It could just be a date thrown at random by either you or Wiigator to calm things down here.

Anyway, I do not feel concerned too much because I can wait a month if it means we'll be served a perfected loader. Continue your hard work and good luck everyone (Wiigator and beta testers).

I have got the video from a tester. I couldn't watch the first one, because I don't have the correct version of adobe flash installed.

Impressive WiiGator~! Keep up the fine work~! We appreciate your time and effort you have dedicated to this application~!
Awesome Video, and just like to say good job WiiGator!
but i have one question, the v0.3 version in that video, was it running a patched or an non-patched backup?

just out of curiosity...

Wow that Video realy is impressive.
The 0.1 Loader took very very very long before shownig something.

Congratulation WiiGATOR to your backup loader

so what exactly is the difference between a wii disc and a burned dvd backup? the two can't be 1:1 copies in all respects or else the wii wouldn't be able to differentiate...

Any news of Waninkoko ?

Waninkoko released his Custom DIP module 0.2 and left because Wiigator was doing a good job and he didn't want to waste his effort.

Aww, how sweet of him

(NOT BEING SARCASTIC)

I just saw the Video,, and it looks incredible, good job everyone!
oh and I'm glad he's holding it back for Patched games, it means we wont have to bother meddling about with our SD cards in the future X3

Hurrah for WiiGator!

This was a common mis-conception that held with the gamecube system and has now held with the Wii. I remember testing out my original gamecube games and a backup and noticed that both spun the same way. The difference between legit Wii games and back-ups is that each of their discs contains a BCA mark. It basically acts a type of bar code that is written to the disc with a YAG laser. Basically they just made something that our normal burner lasers couldn't reproduce.
