from what the devleopers and beta testers have said, basically ALOT of games that werent working before our now working and the alot of games have also improved in there gameplay..i.e. loading times, cut scenes and such.

yeah reports back are all positive - looks to have solved a lot of issues - there will still be a few , but the coders are really getting there with this.
And more seem to be jumping on board to get the final part of it all done - WiiShizza jumped in with the graphics and making the channels so we can assume this next one will have a pre-made channel for it when released.

@Raiyu - dude would really love to see what its like when you actually use the rebooter to then load a 1:1 just to see it in action..cant wait to see this COD5 vid dude..

also...Shizza have you decided on the channel graphics yet or isit a WIP?

I didn't think about a channel for the new upcomming gamma version...
Until djtaz wrote something about me doing the channel

Guess what, I just whipped up the new Banner for GAMMA

It has the same minimal style like the header which preview I posted earlier.

But as I'm still not the pro in coding and I don't have the source for the gamma,
I don't know If I could mod the code to make it an autoboot version...

Should be nice to have... I'm sure Forsaeken can lend me a hand if the source comes out.
Also an autoboot to Rebooter version would be brilliant...

Let's wait for the official release from our Guru, first. Then we'll see.

First the Rebooter fom the gamma version has to be started. Then the Disc channel method works.
And to enable the rebooter, you can start the dol through the HBC or you use the channel.
In my opinion a channel is optimal, cos you don't need an SD-Card when the channel is installed...

i think the autorebooter would be a great option

run the channel it auto reboots into the wii menu and then the Disc Channel will load your backups for you...even a 6yr old could be taught to do that lol

Just so you know that Wario does NOT work completely. It freezes up when trying to load the FIRST SECRET level. If you unlock it by getting the secret map then try going to that level, it freezes upon loading it. Please give this information to wiigator to see what he can do to correct this. And this is with the read retry fix as well, it just stops reading the disc at that point.

Something else, if you try to get Sam and Max to work, when you select an episode it will ask if you are sure you want to play that episode, you select yes, then the Wii REBOOTS itself completely. Can you work on this as well WiiGator? Thanks so much guys!!

If it's a channel version, you have to install a wad.
If it's booting from the homebrew channel, you use the boot.dol.

.dol is a application thing of it asa .exe on your pc
.wad is a channel think of that as sayin a .msi on your pc it installs stuff.

so only .wads can install channels.

- The dol is accessible through the HBC

It doesn't really matter which method u choose to start the BackupLoader.
