This post is inspired by a recent random conversation I had which resulted in plans for a backpacking trip around Ireland. After doing some researching, I've caught the travelbug again and can't stop thinking about visiting faraway places and seeing new things :-)
Where have you gone (or would love to go to) backpacking that was especially memorable? Are there any places around the world that yield a much better experience when seen in person, on foot, and with autonomy slung over your shoulders?
