Hi,

today I have modded my GBA with backlight mod, but i didn't soldered red wire yet. I will do it in few hours. Just wanted to ask since I'm curious, screen has working backlight and it produces light very well, but colors are really washed out. It's impossible almost to see anything. Is it because of a red wire which isn't soldered or it might be damaged screen or something?

What does exactly red wire do?

BTW. Yeah, I have tried to tweak screw on the motherboard. Nothing changed too much.

I think I've found a problem. Problem might be on a tweek contrast screw on the motherboard after all. It seems like it's loosen and I can't tight it, but if I press it really hard, image becomes better. BTW. Seems like no soldering is needed.
