Hi guys. I have an N3DS with Luma (Not sure which version) and B9 1.2. I heard that B9 1.3 is now out. Should I update to that? Is there any reason to update B9? I think I am on System Firmware 11.5. Thoughts and help appreciated

My advice is to to go ahead and update. Changes aren't committed for no reason, they only improve the program. It's always a good idea to keep things as updated as possible to eradicate the chance for incompatibility issues later. Unless you'd rather be "one of those" and when a new CFW update or something comes out that requires it start a new thread because "my console is bricked"... Lol

There's no reason to upgrade from B9S 1.2 to 1.3. The point of the release was a few changes related to ntrboot.

I updated a few days ago. it literally takes less than five minutes, so there's no reason not to.

There's both no reason to update and no reason not to update. If you are using stock B9S, then really don't gain nor lose anything updating 1.3 compared to 1.2.
So if you want to be updated for the sake updating, update. There's no risks involved and it only takes a few minutes to do so
If you don't see anything in 1.3, then don't worry about updating. There's no harm in remaining on 1.2 until something more interesting happens.
There's no risks involved with either path you take. Also your OFW doesn't matter when dealing with B9S.
