Hacking Avoiding bans

There is a difference between not being banned yet and something being declared safe. People who were banned for using LayeredFS, .XCI, .NSP, or whatever other hack weren't banned immediately; they were banned in waves. And only Nintendo controls when a banwave occurs and who to strike.

How many banwaves like those your described, from the beginning ?

LayeredFS was a banwave, then there was a banwave around the time firmware 6.0 came out. The transition of bans to CDN bans wasn't really a banwave since no new users were banned; their banned status merely changed. So I would roughly 2, maybe 3 max (a third one to account for .XCI users but these were sparse and random).

The problem does not reside in the content of the SD card.

The switch keeps logging what's happening in the system nand, which you can't replace that easely, so illegal software like installed games without valid certificates or homebrew crashes, etc, can leave traces that once uploaded flag your system.
Hey op there's your answer

So the only method is wifi off. And I understand that if you enable wifi and I use other SD card the traces goes to nintendo server and you cant get a ban, so the solutions is wifi off and if you would like to play online restore nand to delete these traces and play with legal software.

If you're using SX and never been online, try to clean logs using another cfw with nx-dreport.kip.

The key is to look at ticketblob e1 e2 in SYSTEM/save, delete them to clear all installed tickets > delete user activity > do factory restore settings (also will be removed all your tickets).
> Setup emunand
> Factory restore settings again to unlinked sysnand from emunand.
>Deal with Nintendo folder or use another sd.

Feel free to play online on pure sysnand without fearing of ban.

Been playing online since 2.0. Thanks to SX.

Not hacking your Switch is the legitimate way to "Avoid" a ban everything else is just trying to be under the radar mitigating the ban risks. You can use 100 SD cards and the ban risk will still be present

Completely clearing logs also raises red flags

If you got strange logs and went online you'd be banned already.

If you got common logs you could clear them out by doing factory restore settings. I cleared common logs from time to time since nx-dreport's been out (error sharing off)

It's already been said that having absolutely zero logs also creates red flags and will get you banned since Nintendo expects to have logs, even the common ones, since you're not supposed to be able to delete them. Factory Restore settings doesn't delete everything you know

From what I checked D1/E1/E2 in SYSTEM/save Factory restore settings will delete all error logs/ ticketblob.

If you read what disabling that option really means, it says it disables error reporting to third-party companies. It does not disable error reports transmitted to Nintendo.

It's good to know that.

So the only method to avoid ban is to backup then disable completely from the Internet. Restore backup when going online then backup again and again switching between online/ hacking.

The fear of ban will lead to depression and there's no way to enjoy gaming.

We will be banned soon.

Put your switch in airplane mode, backup your nand before any homebrew/nsp installation, install nsp's without connecting online, don't update your firmware version, restore your nand and go online again.
Easy steps that prevent yourself being banned, i'm still not banned and i'm doing this since 2 months in a row, the only way to get banned this way is if nintendo somehow knows that you had been on RCM which atm they can't.

Since this topic has been brought up again:
Can't we just wipe the logs and create fake ones?
