If we want to avoid bans, can't we just use a different microsd to play online?
That's exactly what SX OS' emunand does but my method would me more secure (as long as you don't install .nsps on the nand I guess)

Having homebrew files on your sd card isn't against the TOS. So you won't get banned for that. However, you may get banned if your Switch logs your homebrew activity when you run it.

This is a joke, right?
Did anyone get banned for using a different microsd?
Afaik nintendo bans you if they detect homebrew stuff/files which you dont have on your microsd
UNLESS someone got banned for using a different microsd like im suggesting, asking "hurr durrr is diz a joke? im le ebin troll" is beyond retarded
You should take these kind of tips and use them, especially if youre one of those that cant afford SX OS (and judging by your reply, you probably are)

You're talking a rather staunch position on an idea that has no legs. And surely someone who has used 2 sd cards had still gotten banned.

Who?
Link me the thread so I can read

Go in the banned thread and read pages 3 threw 15 that's the range i remember reading about them. They described the exact scenario you laid out. However age had gotten to me and i cannot recall the username or precise page but if you give those pages a read through you'll definitely see them i can assure you that, my word is bond

wow!

how come nobody ever thought of switching micro sd cards?

hundreds of people spending money and time to develop a code, an algorithm, a method, anything to avoid console and account bans.

the solution was clear, right in front of us: just change the micro sd card.

congratulations!

the forum admin can close some topics now!

LOL

Come on now yeah. Do some research before making these posts

I did. My research says no one got banned switching microsds.

Well, please do attach your report that backs up your statement! Do an extensive research to prove your point.
Until then, I am going to assume your point is shit

Except it does because no one got banned for using Emunand
There is a difference between not being banned yet and something being declared safe. People who were banned for using LayeredFS, .XCI, .NSP, or whatever other hack weren't banned immediately; they were banned in waves. And only Nintendo controls when a banwave occurs and who to strike.

The problem does not reside in the content of the SD card.

The switch keeps logging what's happening in the system nand, which you can't replace that easely, so illegal software like installed games without valid certificates or homebrew crashes, etc, can leave traces that once uploaded flag your system.
