Most I've seen in a transit from China to southern California is 25 days. You'll get it, eventually.

Never takes me more than 3 weeks. Ordering from China is just fine, as long as it's not memory cards.
that is usualy what i have to wait for Orders from china.
But if you have order from DX before there crap, i have had stuff come after 8 weeks, after they shipped it, but they can take upto 2 weeks(from what i order from them) to ship the order, which is why i stop buying from them and started buying from tinydeal when i need something cheap. with tinydeal i usually get my order between 2-3 weeks.(same as Buy in coins)
the tablet i ordered from tinydeal came in 18 days(including weekends) so 2 weeks)

Typical transit is about two and a half to three weeks. Expect a lot slower now that the holiday seasons are approaching.

I'm currently ordering all my games from Videogamesplus.ca. If you ask them to ship your games via "Global Mail", they will charge you only two more bucks and will give you a tracking number. They ship their items from Canada.
I don't think they deal with flash cards, though.

actually i have had one of those ps3 jailbreak dongles(P3FREE) come from china, during there New years, it took less then 2 weeks on normal shipping.
this was when ps3 jailbreaking was just getting started

I have bought from them before(Persona 4 Golden) it took 3 weeks form Toronto Canada to Azores Portugal.
the funny thing is that my sister live near there store(about a 20 minute drive)

The longest wait I had ordering from China was from gamekool and it took over a month to ship to my house in Massachusetts. The shortest time I've had was a week from zhuzhuchina both in Massachusetts and Indiana. It really differs what shipping service they use, when they ship, and how they ship. Around this time of the year and into the winter it's very slow shipping. During Summer (mostly early Summer) it's the fastest shipping from China. During any month with a Chinese holiday in it is the worst months for shipping.
These are just some of my observations when ordering from China.

Haha, that's a lucky case, my typical Chinese shopping experience during the holidays was pretty terrible from what I remember. :P

aiat_gamer, For future orders, you may benefit from choosing one shipping service which is best for your country of residence and sticking to it. There are many options from Chinese sellers usually - DHL, Fedex, EMS are most common ones.

Unfortunately, you can learn it only from your experience. For example, in my country EMS basically means "s**t" because it gets "caught" by our domestic service (EMS Russia) while on the middle of its destination and that's when they begin to "fiddle" with it and advertised speed drops to 20-30 days (and more). That's why EMS for me means China Airmail with tracking No ;)
On the other hand, I found out that Fedex can deliver for the same price in about 7-8 days (that is a record among all available for me shipping metods). And price is absolutely the same.

Also, keep in mind that there are some "blackout periods" like Chinese New Year, mid-autumn festival and other such nasty things. It is likely that your order was caught in this aforementioned mid-autumn festival...

I bought mine from bestkauf. I Got my gateway 5 days later. I live in de mark though. Nothing wrong with bestkauf. Might be you Being unlucky.

Nothing wrong except them pretending they are from Europe and then sending from China.

You guys don't read much do you? I paid for express delivery! If it was normal tracking then I wouldn't mind the time.
Overall, the first crappy thing they did was pretend they were located in Germany, I even asked them in an email about it! Secondly I am now doubting that they send my package using normal tracking post instead of express. How can check to see if it is true?

Shoptemp's dealers have listed that they're in America yet they ship from China. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can really be done about that. :/ And if you really did pay for Express delivery, and it took as long as you say, contact them and ask for a refund on the shipping. Either that or you live in a rather isolated area and express just didn't work or something. Definitely contact them though.

I would almost recommend ordering from NA if they will ship to your location in Europe because at least they are using better carriers with better tracking systems and you aren't dealing with the blackhole that is China/HK. There are a number of good providers in Canada and I am sure they ship to EU. Just a thought, but us here in the USA get spoiled because we are such a huge market and have so many quality shipping options at reasonable prices. I got my gateway from modchipcentral (which is in Canada but I live close to Detriot which is right across the boarder from where modchip is located) and it took like 2 days shipping for the cheap option. I always expect a long wait when something is coming from China/HK....I got TrueBlue for my ps3 from there a few years back and it seemed to take 3-4 weeks.

You wanna hear a 'funny' story about long postage? This puts 2 weeks and makes it seem like fast shipping.

So, a while ago (i had the ds lite when it was first released), I was looking at flashcards and came across a site, the were selling a M3 Simply for £50, yes 50 whole pounds I think it was a decent price at the time, so I ordered it. 3 weeks later, no package, so i emailed them, no response. I ordered via credit card, so the only other option was a chargeback, but i wanted to give them benefit of the doubt...

2 months later, i had completely forgotten that i had ordered it so i was wasn't waiting for anything and we didn't chargeback. Fast forward 7 MONTHS (YES, 7 MONTHS!) I recieved a package in the mail, i thought to myself "huh, i haven't ordered anything" but it had my name and address on it, so i opened it up to find the M3 simply, i was full of a mixture of rage and confusion... To this day i still have no idea why it took 7 months to arrive.

I am not denying that maybe that website should be avoided, but this is not true for all Chinese sellers. I've ordered from plenty of different ones, and never had any problems.

Used DX plenty of times, the only time it takes much longer than 3 weeks is when they don't actually have the item in stock. Usually it takes around 2 weeks. 1 if I'm lucky.
They've always shipped in-stock items within the advertised 1-3 days, usually the same or next day.

you are lucky than because I have waited upto 2 weeks(and i have) when they say the have the item in stock.

they changed it to "Ships within 7-10 business days" because of this

It no longer says if the item is in stock or not, as well. At least not that I could see.
But I've gotten everything I ordered after they made that change within 3 weeks from when they ship it, and it still ships within a couple of days.
I've avoided ordering unpopular items that lack reviews and such, I try to order an alternative item with more reviews instead, I suppose they're less likely to be out of stock since they will restock more regularly.

DX' warehouse is a few blocks away from their sales/customer support building. But, if you go to live chat, you can enquire if they have stock for a certain item. They could usually check their inventory and tell you exact quantity left at the warehouse.

If you paid through PayPal, that's grounds for a claim. - No question, same for a credit card, but not a debit card.

You paid for a service you haven't received, also, it's been shipped from somewhere other than where it stated it was shipped from, so that's a 100% success claim on it's own.

When the item turns up and you've received you refund, just keep it. If asked to return for a refund, then just send back an empty packet.

this is the very reason paypal freezes flash kit seller accounts and in turn why those sellers can no longer accept paypal. you have 45 days to make your complaint, why would you do so only after 14 days knowing full well that chinese goods can take up to a month to arrive and that your report will most likely kill another flash kit reseller. you would be better off contacting the reseller and asking for more information. if the reseller blatantly ignores you then threaten them with a paypal report. if you are going to actually file a report in an attempt to get your money back (and regardless of what you have read, they will not automatically side with the buyer), at least wait until the deadline.
