Gaming Averted GTS scam?

At one time, I was looking for a Fushide, and I decided to go to the GTS for one. (I was playing ポケットモンスターブラック blind.) I ended up finding one offering a Fushide for some Pokémon I could catch outside Aloe's gym. So, I did the trade. My Fushide seems legitimate, but I checked his nickname.

My Fushide was named "レシラム♢".

Did I just inadvertently disrupt a scammer's plans to claim to offer a Reshiram but leave the victim with a Fushide?

My Venipede was named "Reshiram? (in Japanese)".

I have secret reasons as to why I used the foreign version of the games. However, I used Roomaji not only to match the the names with the games, but I also did not know Fushide's English name (/attempting to avoid spoilers/), and I wanted to demonstrate the exact name of the Fushide I got.

Even so, I wonder how that odd Fushide came to be...

Renaming a Venipede would not in any way make people think it's actually a Reshiram.

No way a scam. the game wouldn't bring up that Venipede if someone searched for Reshiram.
