So The 3DS XL Arrived today and FW is 4.4 ! So a very happy man right here. Now still waiting on my Gateway to arrive should get here tomorrow can not wait , WOO!!!

Hi, I have two 3DS XL from Australia. The SAF1029xxxx x was 6.2
The SAF1001xxxx x was 4.4

Both had boxes from 2012. I bought two so that I could play online/do all the things Gateway can't.

I know you said you already had one but I figured I'd post this for future reference.

I found it easy to just buy one of the many "unwanted gift" 3DS XLs from eBay and inquire the firmware from the buyer. That's how I got mine.
