Hi, I’ve looked all over and tried the many suggestions to fix this but still no luck.

I have an Xbox 360 soft modded with bad avatar, which then boots into aurora via xexlaunch. The Xbox already has approx 30 games installed to the internal hdd (I also have the physical discs), the Xbox dash can see and play all these. I’ve also downloaded an iso, extracted it and put this onto the internal hdd and also an external usb hdd, but even when setting various paths aurora ignores everything.

One suggestion was to delete the aurora ‘data’ dir to force a rescan, I did this and the game on the ext hdd showed up along with the cover art, but would not play (just a black screen). The internal hdd games also showed up without cover art, wouldn’t download the covers and then just disappeared again.

I’m sure it’s a simple fix but everything I’ve tried doesn’t work, adding paths, changing them, converting the iso to GOD, trying to run the xex via file manager……..all gives me no luck.

Please help if you can, thanks.

Delete the Aurora folder from the drive where it's located.
Then perform a clean installation of Aurora 0.7b.2.
Here is the Aurora download : https://phoenix.xboxunity.net/downloads/Aurora 0.7b.2 - Release Package.rar

Did a clean install of Aurora 0.7b.2, on first run it scans through the internal HDD and I can see it scanning all the titles (approx 35), although it still doesn't find the disc to god title or the iso to god (default.xex) I've got on there.

After bootup a path to content/00000.... Is added, it scans for the games and now they actually appear on the dashboard (without covers).

Trying to add the covers via 'assets' gives no joy.

Reboot Aurora and all the titles have disappeared from the dashboard, doing a scan makes no difference.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

When you add a scan route, set the depth to 9 and save the route. The two games that don't appear are probably in a different route; check it.
For the covers, connect to the internet and Aurora will download them automatically.
Sorry for my English.

Sorry for my English.

Scan route was set to 4, changed it to 9 but still not finding titles.
Already had other title on a scan pat (the iso I downloaded and converted to GOD), also changed to 9 but still not being found.

What I did notice is that if I run XM360 from the xexmenu/homebrew, not only did it see the titles (except the one I mention above), but I can also launch and play them!

Pulling my hair out over this.

That's very strange... I'm sorry I can't help you more.
You could try Freestyle, just to rule out any problems.

That’s what I was thinking, trying another dashboard.

Strange…..Freestyle Dash 3 sees all these games on the internal hdd and launches them (the ones I’ve tried anyway).

Still not downloading covers but Ive noticed that when I do a network test it only connects to the router and not the internet (it reports network connected, internet failed, xbox live blocked - which seems to be a common error).

Have tried changing router to split 5ghz and 2.4ghz, connected Ethernet and used phone hotspot - none will connect to the internet.

Retried aurora with exactly the same scan paths, finds the games on the first run, but hangs at getting the title update when trying to launch one.... After that it doesn't find any games.

Fsd works perfectly, only issue I have with that is that the covers won't download.

i suspect your games, redownload them, check game folder structure too
They work with freestyle dash ok, so why would they not work with aurora. Also, only 2 of the games are downloaded isos converted to god. The other 30 something have been installed from purchased discs.
