Of course they'll be approved... if not it's TEH SOCIALISMS! (ooooo scary!!)trumpet-205 said:You still need regulator approval before you can merge. I'm surprised that ATT wants to buy T-Mobile USA.
If approved, ATT will become the largest GSM service provider.

Not really comparable, since Comcast and NBC weren't competitors (NBC's stake in Hulu aside).twiztidsinz said:Look at the Comcast/NBC merger that got approved.

Probably. T-Mobile customers will probably be converted to AT&T's horrible cellular service.Fear Zoa said:I have a good plan on Tmobile too.....Am I going to get screwed by this?

Hopefully they'll take over the wireless towers as well so technically AT&T's coverage shouldn't suck as much as before.Slyakin said:Probably. You guys have been extremely screwed over.

Well, T-Mobile covers America really well. If AT&T gets that tower coverage (as well as that 4G coverage), AT&T will blow Sprint out of the water.SubliminalSegue said:I left AT&T when they sold me a shitty phone that broke, replaced it with the same phone 3 times and refused to offer me any sort of customer service. Now I'm with Sprint, and the only thing I can say is "Have fun, T-Mobile customers. You now have the crappy AT&T service while I sit back and use my awesome Sprint service."
Problem?

The only reason I'm using GSM is because of SIM card, which apparently in US there is a law preventing CDMA using R-UIM.Advi said:yay, now GSM mobile service will be shittier than ever.
