It’s been almost 7 hours! Are you sure he’s still coming?

It's been what 4 years now that Atmosphere project has been active?
What is left to do?

Not sure if that is accurate today, took a look at the github and found this https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/projects

Also there's this roadmap updated on January 14th, 2021 https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/blob/master/docs/roadmap.md
What has already been done and what's left?
I found this point interesting:

fs reimplementation
Description: Following mesosphère's completion, atmosphère will have reimplemented all components of the BootImagePackage firmware except for the filesystem services system module. Reimplementing fs will allow for fixing Nintendo bugs (such as corruption when using exFAT filesystems and encoding inconsistencies with UTF-8 and Shift-JIS).
Development Status: Planned.
Estimated Time: 2021-2022.

Just did an upgrade to Atmosphere 1.3.2. Then upgraded to latest OFW 14.1.2. Now won't play any installed games. Is this because Atmosphere does not yet support OFW 14.1.2? If so, could I simply install OFW 14.0.0 or is it impossible to "downgrade" the OFW?

Nice to have. But not really neccessary because you can "avoid" these corruptions when you use fat32. Furthermore, it is actually pointless to use exFAT anyway. Files larger than 4GB are not stored on the SD anyway. Unless you would play the games as a virtual gamecard, like in SX OS. But since Atmosphère doesn't support that, it doesn't matter.

The character encoding issues have caused problems with homebrew, usually with ROMs for emulators with funky characters in their filenames, actually that can apply to media files for media players too. ROMs bigger than 4GB can come in to play for emulation homebrew too, and said media files for said media players.
Like you said tho, also just nice to have.

There are files (XCI & NSP) that are larger than 4GB so unless you install them via USB or use some tools to divide them into smaller parts you won't be able to just drag and drop them to the SD Card like some people do.
