Hacking Suggestion Atmosphere 0.8 for 6.2.0 Setup Tutorials

How did you do it? I can't install any .nsp at all, always getting the "failed to open file system with id" error using tinfoil.

I'm on 6.2.0/atmosphere 0.8 using the files provided in this setup guide.

Thanks for your help. I've found people here and at r/SwitchHacks saying it doesn't work, others saying it does. So I'm not sure what's going on.

Try to use this build tinfoil-341fc39. Usb install is working fine for me as well using this build.

Is USB install the only option working for you? If so, how does it work? Sorry for my ignorance, I've only installed nsps the "normal" way in tinfoil.

What are you even talking about? Tinfoil works fine. I just installed an NSP just to test. Your guide sucks, by the way. No need to use the weird SDFiles sig patches, these ones work fine:

To get HBL working with the clean, Github Atmosphere, put this file in /atmosphere/ on SD.

You don't need any of the SDFiles garbage. Grab Atmo from Github, extract to SD, grab the sig patches and extract to the Atmo folder, put the linked HBL.NSP in the Atmo folder. All done.

just signed up on this forum to say how right you were. I followed your direction exactly and everything went perfectly. I was was on reinx 6.1 which was downgraded from 6.2. What I did was first update to 6.2 the legal way and then followed your direction. Everything went perfectly. Infact I didnt have to touch my tinfoil.nro as it was perfect where it was. Thanks a million.

Use the method written by BlahBlah on page1. Works fine for me. I could install 2 NSPs just fine with his method.

i used @Adubbz Tinfoil and it works flawless, the one from the Appstore doesn't work.

the steps i did was
Deleted Atmosphere folder from fw 5.1.0 (the one i was using before updating)
copied Atmosphere from SDfile website Contents (still useful for the other content and hbl already in Atmo Folder)
copied Atmosphere .8 for 6.2.0 over it
copied 2.0.0-6.1.0.zip extracted contents inside Atmosphere folder (the missing files mentioned by 'blahblah'

Did anyone manage to get tinfoil installing the patched YT nsp or homebrew menu nsp. They are giving me error. Any other nsp installs fine by the regular method

How to fix the Install nsp error:
Because missing "KIP patches "
You can Download it here: 2.0.0-6.2.0.zip
(Unzip it and place to the Atmosphere folder.)
