Hi,

I have seen my question a couple of times with no answer.
I ran atmosphere 0.7 with update 6.1 and an exfat sd card. I could only start the cfw with hekate.
Now I have the problem that hekate is not updated yet and I don't know how to get into the cfw. When I try the fusee primary the black loading screen comes up with no error and instead of starting the cfw it starts the ofw. I can start it when I use my fat32 sd card but 4 GB max file size is too less for me.
I also replaced the changed Kosmos files and placed the sig patches on the sd card.

I don't know anything else that I can try.

Thank you in advance for your help!

- copy your files to a safe place on your PC.
- format your card to fat32.
- place your files into your nnew formated fat32 sd card
- re-apply the 6.1 update using choixdujour , this time chose the "exfat" option.
- format your card back to exfat and copy back your files , it should work.

Did you mean re-apply 6.2? I think you need the firmware for choixdujour. Where do I get it?

Use FAT32. USB and Network install both allow you to install any game on fat32. You can also split your NSP files into <4GB chunks and install them with Tinfoil as normal.

whats your type of micro SD card or are you using an HDD/SSD to boot your file(s)?..

I know but exfat is a lot easier and it seems that it is possible.

Just a usual microsdxc.

I will try with choixdujour

What BRAND of SD is the question you were being asked.

exFAT corrupts regularly. It only "works" insofar as you're willing to continue to reformat your SD consistently. 100% of all homebrew (nsp installers and SX OS included) can corrupt your exfat card. the corruption can take the form of one messed up file, or entire missing folders, or even a completely unusuable SD.

I have an original sandisc extreme.

After trying 6.2 I used 6.1 atmosphere again and everything worked. I don’t think that is a problem at the moment.

Thank you

Edit: Updating with choixdujour was the key. Thank you all
