Ok So I was playing Mass Effect 3 on Wii-U under the Arora environment and was having sound issues.

When I went to Settings—>TV—>TV Audio Pitput type and push the “Surround Sample” I only get the left center and right speaker tone

When I boot into stock OS or Tiaramasu, The tones work perfectly. Can others see if they have the same issue?

I tried reinstalling Aroma on a fresh SD card and had the same issue

Thanks!

I had this exact same problem in aroma and it seems like SwipswapMe was the problem, disabling it fixed the issue and now I can hear all the correct tones in the surround sample. If you want it enabled I think you might have to set it to "normal" audio as opposed to "Gamepad matches TV" audio.

Hope this helps! if it does, spread the word!

yours run like that?

Are you asking if I get normal surround sound performance you would expect from a vanilla un-modded console? yes i do :)

You're a genius, I was on my second disc with the same audio glitches and you saved my sanity thank you. Why is this the only game with that issue lmaoo.

sorry I was saiying that for me, the game enters normally but is like I dont have any enviroment like aroma
Mass Effect 3 flushes environments when it boots. I picked it up on disc as a curiosity for £3 a few years ago and noticed that back in the CBHC days.
