Homebrew arm9 makes battery drain faster?

i don't play 3ds that often, but i always, always keep them on or at least give it a charge after i see the red light(battery dying) coz i am lazy to turn it off....

so i just installed arm9hax.

its been a month now. living my life.

however i feel like my 3ds drains battery faster (during idle since that is what most my 3ds is doing)

compare to what i had(menuhax).

is it just illusion?

The only thing that could do this is setting the clock speed to max but even then it would be so minimal you wouldn't notice anything different so it's all in your head.

It might just be your battery getting worse, as A9LH is actually lighter on the battery than menuhax + emunand
