Hi all. I just updated my N3DS from boot9strap 1.0 to 1.2 with luma from 7.1 to 8.1.1. But before all this, I accidentally updated luma from 7.1 to 8.1.1 while I am still on b9s 1.0. After I followed guide and updated to 1.2. I could not boot my 3ds any more. It gave me arm11 exception.
I can still enter Luma config and chainloader screens through START and SELECT.
Anyone can help? Much appreciated.

The first Error you got was because of menuhax, thus deleting the menu folder fixed that.
In this case it seems that your 3ds/n3ds tries to load something during boot and trying to load it crashes the system

Update to B9S 1.2 to see if that fixes it.

Edit: You need to be able to use safehax homebrew for that -.-.
Can you boot without the sd card atm?

I think I already have B9S 1.2 installed. I am able to enter luma 8.1.1 config screen.
I also can boot without sd card inserted.

Without sd card does it give the same error with the loader?

Edit.
If yes, then the file is in the 3ds.
If no then the file is on the sd card

No. Without sd card, I will just boot into the regular system and have no error.
I can even boot into the regular system with sd card now after I delete the menu folder.
The error only pops up when i try to enter my emunand.

Could it be any cia I installed? But everything worked well before I upgraded to B9S 1.2 and luma 8.1.1

Ah then the problem is in whatever is atm used to get into emunand.
If you want o have your emunand stuff on the sysnand follow https://3ds.guide/move-emunand
This moves it to sysnand do back up your nand files for is something goes wrong.

If you want to keep emunand you need to tick the right things in the luma config(for a full reset of it delete the config file)

Delete it from both.
I did delete from both. But anyway, I solved the problem, or I should say I found a correct way to enter emunand.
I was trying to enter emunand by boot with holding R. Then I found out it was not the correct way to enter emunand.
